SPECIAL MEETING SUNDAY JUNE 29

Please attend if you are able. This will be a very special meeting. Skuli is back and wants to have a program with all members involved.

Following this meeting Skuli will be going on hiatus and he has some business to place before the church before Summer.

It should be cooler early in the morning and Barry always has refreshments on hand. This will be a very interesting service that you don't want to miss.

"How can I desire anything by you,
Once having joined you for even a moment
In the bliss of I AM FREE
There is nothing higher, or more sacred than
To be in total union with you."

Blessings to all,

Coming Home

Peaceable Kingdom

Please bring strange things.
Please come bringing new things.
Let very old things come into your hands.
Let what you do not know come into your eyes.
Let desert sand harden your feet.

Let the arch of your feet be the mountains.
Let the paths of your fingertips be your maps
and the ways you go be the lines on your palms.
Let there be deep snow in your inbreathing
and your out-breath be the shining of ice.

May your mouth contain the shapes of strange words.
May you smell food cooking you have not eaten.
May the spring of a foreign river be your navel.
May your soul be at home where there are no houses.
Walk carefully, well loved one,
Walk mindfully, well loved one,
Walk fearlessly, well loved one.
Return with us, return to us,
Be always coming home.

Chrysalis News

School is out - so watch for kiddies out playing when you go driving.

Best Wishes for Bowe Bergdahl released after 5 years in Taliban captivity.

Many thanks to Carolyn Salyer, who helped us financially with her purchase of feeders, waterers and food for the cats that live at the church. Everyone please  make a donation to Carolyn to compensate her for her kindness and gererosity.

Barry is doing very well. He is out of the hospital and healing twice as fast as doctors expected. Barry and Lois are at the church building creating healthful meals and juices to protect their own health. Barry looks good and is very cheerful. As always he is the philosopher and thinking of others.

John is on another of his global trips. This time I think he is in China after recently returning from Nepal. He lives the enviable life of a genius. His inventions and manufacturing benefit us all.

Linda Rolinksi is a local musical artist who loves to sing. Linda and Nan Smith are working together to create a little duet to entertain locally. They have been practicing at the Chrysalis worship center on Sunday after our service. When they are done they will be singing together pop and R&B, and gospel tunes.

We got a letter from Stacy Hessler saying her adventure as a 1%er is going well and they are all happy with their progress.

Marianne's car was struck by another driver and she is recovering from a back injury. Please place her in your prayers for physical healing of her body.

The Road Not Taken

by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -
I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference.

"Sacred objects may need physical protection, but the spiritual in itself is quite beyond violation. The sacred opens easily to those who approach it sacredly, but it is not even in the distant view of the profane. It doesn't exist for them.  ... this ample safeguard is woven into the the very nature of the sacred. It is those who have not turned to God contritely who consider God's ways dark, occult, and mysterious. To a mystic they are as clear and plain as can be."
Quotation from Returning To The Source The Way to the Experience of God by Wilson Van Dusen (page 215 of chapter Pristine Awareness in Your Center)

Happy June 2014 to all
